august twenty-eight, two thousand and eleven

after dinner the night before, jeff & i drove straight to his parents place in selaru, negeri sembilan. and usually at those hours the traffic is havoc but we got there early and safely.

so usually 2-3 days before we celebrate eid (yes we are muslims) its a malay tradition to have a 'mantai day'. its when we sell cows meat and every part of the cow for this festive day. and jeff just did that this year to try it out, since he had never done it before. we didn't really make any profit, as we should be. but it was an experience we would never forget.
